Rides is the ultimate app for theme park enthusiasts. With one simple check-in, you collect jetons (points), earn digital awards, and help build a vibrant community of park visitors. Share photos, follow your friends, and challenge each other to achieve the highest score!
How do you get jetons?
You can check in at an amusement park. This is only possible once you are actually inside the park. You will then receive the following jetons:

You can check in at a park a maximum of once per hour. So, no fast-paced park hopping! 😄
¹ If it's a small park, or an individual ride (like standalone summer toboggans or alpine coasters) you will get 1 jeton for the park check-in.
Rides
You can also check in at every ride or show. This becomes available as soon as you are near the ride, and you will receive the following amount of jetons:

During holidays, park anniversaries, or special events, you may receive extra jetons. There must be at least 3 minutes between each check-in.
TIP: The ride page in the app features an option to quickly add re-rides (e.g., during an ERT). This way, you can quickly add up to 25 check-ins at once!
Other ways to earn jetons
In addition to checking in, you have the option to receive jetons in other ways:
Give out a jeton
Every day, the first 25 members can give out one jeton to everyone visiting a park today. In return, you receive one jeton yourself, and all members currently in a park also receive a jeton (up to a maximum of 25). Sharing is caring!
Play the quiz
You can also play our daily quiz where you are presented with 5 questions about parks and rides. "Which ride is this?", "Who built this roller coaster?", "How fast does this ride go?" and many more questions can be expected. For every correct answer, you receive one jeton.
Rate rides
Have you checked in at a ride? Rate the ride and receive 5 extra jetons.
Collect jetons with treasure hunting
When you are in a park, you have the opportunity to search for digital treasure. It is hidden somewhere in the park and yields jetons as well. How many? You won't know until you've found it. There are treasures of 10 jetons but also of 100 jetons. In the app, you can use the compass to see which direction to go to get closer to the treasure.
What can you use jetons for?
Webshop
You can exchange your jetons in our webshop for physical collectibles. We will ship these to you, completely free of charge!
Leaderboard
There is also a leaderboard showing who has collected the most jetons. There are two: one leaderboard based on the past 6 months and one all-time leaderboard.
500 jetons: Access to chat
We have a chat feature in our app. From 500 jetons onwards, you gain access to this chat.
2500 jetons: Add and edit parks and rides
If you have more than 2500 jetons, you can also contribute to our app. You can add and edit parks and attractions to help keep our database up to date.
5000 jetons: Rides top-member
From 5000 jetons, you become a Rides top-member and receive an extra badge on your profile and avatar.
Rides Awards
Earn special awards for all your hard work in the theme parks:

Furthermore, there are plenty of fun, unique awards to earn. Sometimes awards are also available for new attractions or rides that are about to close.
